Deborah Lettner is a South African born actress, specialising in Film and Television.  Her natural ability with accents has earned her key roles in international productions for America, Germany, the UK and South Africa. She is known for her roles on Gettysburg, Angel of the Skies, Beaver Falls and Epiphany.

 

She has been actively involved in various aspects of film making including casting, cast co-ordinating and producing and is passionate about the local and international film industry.

New South African produced drama/thriller TV series launching on Amazon Video

TVSA

Obsession is an International drama/thriller television series created by Nicho Barnard. The show is set to make its mark in TV when it releases worldwide on Amazon Video in May 2018. The TV series is produced locally, in South Africa - by South African directors and producers - and features South African actors.

This marks the first of a kind to have ever been done where a South African produced show hits international waters amongst the other brilliant TV shows out there. A true historical point for SA TV and SA talent.

The show will feature some well-known South African actors such as Jack Devnarain (Isidingo), Brandon Auret (Chappie, Elysium), Elma Postma (7de Laan, Binnelanders) and Deborah Lettner (Angel of the Skies, Beaver Falls)

New Film Comatose in Production

omatose brings South African and Nigerian talent together to tackle the challenging subject of euthanasia.

1Take Media has begun production on Comatose, a dramatic Afro-futurism feature film set to be released in early 2017. The film explores an African perspective on the euthanasia debate, with award-winning actors Fabian Adeoye Lojede (Jacob´s Cross, Man on Ground), Hakeem Kae Kazim (Black Sails, 24, Hotel Rwanda), Mary Twala (Sarafina, The No1 Ladies Detective Agency) and other acclaimed local and African talent such as Aissa Maiga, Bimbo Akintola, Robert Whitehead and Deborah Lettner.

SAFTA-nominated ‘Lunch with Hitler’ tackles compelling subject matter

Lunch With Hitler was inspired by accounts of the young women who were compelled into service as taste testers for Adolf Hitler during World War Two after rumours circulated that the Allies had plans to poison their leader.

In 1942, 15 young women were selected to taste Hitler's food at the Wolf's Lair in East Prussia to confirm that it was safe, after which time members of the SS transported it to the main headquarters for Hitler and his entourage to enjoy.

Deborah Lettner is an actress, producer and speaker. Besides her commercial work, she is currently shortlisted for a major international film shooting in London in the last quarter of 2017 alongside 2 Hollywood Actors.
She is a born and bred Jozi girl, although her roots are Swiss and Austrian, which makes her fluent in German as well as English and Afrikaans. She has travelled extensively and lived abroad in the U.S., U.K. and Germany, but feels home will always be in South Africa.
